Devices
Signing out everywhere revokes every device's ability to stay signed in. A
device already in the app keeps working for up to an hour, until its current
access expires. It cannot get back in after that.

Passkey sign-in
A passkey signs you in with this device's passcode instead of your password and
a code from another app. It is kept on the device, it only ever works on this
app's own address, and there is nothing to type, so there is nothing to phish.
It asks for your passcode rather than your face: Touch ID on this iPad and Face
ID on Danielle's phone are both broken, and a passkey falls back to the passcode
when biometrics are unavailable. That is still one prompt instead of finding an
authenticator app and typing a code.

Add one on each device you sign in from. Your authenticator code keeps working
either way and two-step sign-in stays on, so a lost device is never a locked
door: a passkey confirmed with your passcode is both steps in one gesture.

Look at the app as somebody who is not old enough for their own account,
so their experience is proven before it is handed to them. You will lose
the screens they do not have: that is the app being theirs, not a fault.
Anything you write while viewing is filed as theirs and tagged, so it can
be cleared out on the day they get the real thing.

A second check at 08:00 sends something only if a deadline is inside two days.
